Run QFIL.
In any other case u have to install drivers manually.

There should be device called in device management:
Turn off the phone. Hold Vol+ button and plug-in USB Cable. Phone will vibrate one time, screen wil be black. This is DownloadMode.
Download and install QPST 2.7.422 with QFIL and Qualcomm USB Drivers.
Click Browse� in Programmer Path and choose prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn
Load XML in Download Section:
First select RawProgram File: rawprogram0.xml
then Select Patch File: patch0.xml
Check all inputs is correct and click Download under Load XML button and wait about 5 to 10 minutes:
After flashing process starts and might take up to 5-10 minutes. So keep patience and wait

Sony Mobile has commenced the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow rollout on the Xperia Z2 and Z3 series. The update is currently live for the Xperia Z2 (D6503 only), Xperia Z3 (D6603 ony) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 only). The new firmware has build number 23.5.A.0.570, which incidentally is the same as the recent beta release.
Sony has only pulled the Marshmallow trigger on those variants that are part of the beta programme, perhaps in an effort to start getting the update to the public in a timely fashion. We would expect other variants to see the update shortly after. The new update includes the Camera 2.0.0 user interface and February Android security patch level � some screenshots can be seen here. Here in this process, You are doing the following things:

Installing the ADB & Fastboot Settings on your PC
Installing Custom Recovery TWRP via fastboot

Unlocking your phone with the help of Bootloader Unlocker Zip via TWRP
Flashing supersu zip via TWRP custom recovery.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ze500kl Marshmallow Root Process:

First of all download all the above file and connect your Asus zenfone 2 laser ze500kl/zooed marshmallow to PC via USB Cable
After connecting to PC via USB, Now send Bootloader Unlocker & superSU zip into your Phone
Now Place ADB, Fastboot & TWRP files in a single folder & Install ADB, fastboot & USB drivers
After the ADB setup simply click on shift+right click mouse and select CMD
in CMD now type adb reboot bootloader & press on enter.
Now your phone will boot into fastboot mode & again type adb devices and check if it shows your phone ID or not. If it shows then you are good to go. if it didnt show then make sure you install your phone drivers properly.

Now you need to boot custom recovery TWRP into your phone. simply type fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2.0-Z00E-MM.img.img and hit enter. it will take 5 seconds and reboot into custom recovery TWRP automatically.
Now you need to flash bootloader unlocker zip via TWRP. (flashing unlocker zip means you are unlocking your phones bootloader which means your warranty is gone)
Now you need to flash Supersu.zip again via TWRP. simply select suspersu from TWRP, slide the slider to the right to flash it & you are done.
After the installing of Supersu is finished simply clear the cache & reboot your phone.
After reboot, you will see Supersu app installed on your phone. thats it. you have successfully rooted your phone Asus zenfone 2 laser ze500kl/zooed marshmallow

My conclusion:

Make sure you boot TWRP, If you flash TWRP then you will brick your phone.
Make sure your phone model is below mentioned marshmallow version. if yes then this method will work if no then this method wont work.
Make sure you flash unlocker zip before flashing supersu, if you dont then you brick your phone.
If you want to unroot then simply flash your phone version stock ROM. thats it.
I suggest you to read each & every step carefully & understand it clearly before you root your device.

Android 6 0 Marshmallow

Main Features

Android Marshmallow is visually similar to its predecessor, Lollipop, in many ways. Google�s Material Design language is now more pervasive than ever before and the main areas of the UI � settings, notifications shade and navigation � remain the same. But Marshmallow does have some differences in appearance and new features.

Doze

Doze is, after Google Now on Tap, perhaps the biggest thing in Marshmallow. Doze is an intelligent battery management feature that recognizes when your device is not is use, like when it has been lying on a bedside table for a while, and enters hibernation.

It�s more complicated than that, of course, but the battery savings are phenomenal. Where other devices lose an average of 15-25 percent of battery life overnight, Marshmallow can take that down to 3-5 percent, taking your standby time to nearly two weeks in the process

Furthermore, manufacturers won�t be able to mess with Doze mode. This doesn�t mean that manufactures can�t still apply their own battery saver modes to their skins of stock Android, but device standby will only be handled by an unmodified Doze.

Type-C and reverse charging

Marshmallow also supports the new standard, USB Type-C. Type-C cables are reversible � so you won�t have to worry about fumbling around with your charging cable in the dark � and they also support faster data transfer and charging speeds.

Not many devices have USB Type-C ports yet, and not all are shipping with true Type-C cables and adapters (many are simply reconfigured USB 2.0 cables). But Marshmallow is future-proofing itself by including Type-C support and the new USB Power Delivery specification, meaning Marshmallow devices will also be able to reverse-charge other devices.

App permissions

This is one of the unsexy but incredibly important parts of Android Marshmallow. The Android system now offers user-facing controls over some, but not all, app permissions. While iOS has had this feature for years, Android is only now catching up.

Some basic permissions � internet access, for example � are still granted by default, but generally speaking you will be asked to grant individual app permissions the first time an app attempts to access them.

This means you are in control of whether or not an app has access to something as critical as your microphone or camera. Some apps might not work properly with certain permissions disabled, but the onus is on the app developers to stabilize their apps without all permissions granted, not on you to accept what you might feel are unnecessary permissions.

Permissions for a particular app can be viewed within the settings menu (which permissions an app does or doesnt have) or by permission type (so you can see how many apps have access to your contacts, for example). Viewing by permission type is slightly hard to get to, but at least that will stop accidental changes from being made.

Downgrade from Android Marshmallow to Lollipop

Android M update in Asus Zenfone Series is a great thing. Through which I could not find any major update. As I Expected that Asus will include RAW Image feature but no, They didnt.

Meanwhile, a lot of other users are experiencing problems like Battery Drainage, Camera problem etc. So I decided to make a tutorial on Downgrading.
I have tested this on my Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL and it works.
I have Downgraded From Version V21.40.1220.1615 to 1.12.40..349

INSTRUCTIONS:

Download Your respective phone FIRMWARE from Asus Website.

Put that into phones External Storage
Turn off the phone and go to recovery mode.
Press on "Apply Update from SDcard"

How to Downgrade from Marshmallow to Lollipop for Nexus Devices

Marshmallow 6.0 is interesting and for all those users who have already updated Marshmallow 6.0 Android OS in their devices may just want to know on how they can roll back to the official Lollipop 5.1 Android OS. or you have updated your nexus device and now wants to back in lollipop due to following reasons we will help you to back in lollipop.

If for some reasons you hate Marshmallow or it is creating following problems in your nexus you should downgrade your android version with trick mensioned below

WIFI Mac Issue : In the latest Beta 3 release of Marshmallow 6.0, WIFI MAC address changes upon after every reboot.

Battery Drain and Heating Issue : Battery in Nexus 9 drains no less than water. For us in Marshmallow the device started heating which led to faster battery drain than in normal condition.

Force Close Issue : Even though it was a clean install, apps like twitter and Google Play Services are giving force close issues.

Pre Requisites before Downgrading from Marshmallow :

Note : Make sure that you take a backup of all the data in your device as updating the device firmware will wipe your phone completely. With the help of below apps/ tips you can backup data present in your device.

SMS � SMS Backup & Restore
Call Log � Call Log Backup and Restore
Photos, Music and Videos � Take manual backup in your computer,
App Data � App history can be found in Google Play Store but the downloaded data in your apps will be lost and will have to be downloaded.

Keep in mind that battery left in your device should be a more than 50%. Make sure that ADB is properly configured in your computer. Without this it�s not possible to perform this downgrade.

Let�s proceed to the next step we have mentioned steps to downgrade the OS in your device.

Guide to Downgrade to Lollipop 5.1 from Marshmallow 6.0:

Download Lollipop 5.1 OS from the below mentioned link for your appropriate device.

Nexus 5
Nexus 6
Nexus 9 WiFi
Nexus 9 LTE

Once downloaded, extract the folder on Desktop.

Open the folder to extract the zip file as shown in the screen capture below.

Now, in your Windows computer press Shift + Right Click to select the �open Command Prompt here� as shown in the below screen grab.

Once done, turn Off your Nexus device so that it can be entered in the bootloader mode. Press Volume Down + Power Button in your Nexus device to enter the same.

Connect your device to computer with original USB cable and execute the below commands one after other to downgrade the device to Lollipop OS.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img

Please note that post executing all the above commands, it will take around 3 -4 minutes for rebooting the device and show the language preference. It may even take longer time sometimes.
Now you are in Lollipop.
