Asus started Recruiting Beta testers for Asus ZenFone 2 Laser
Well after recruiting beta tester for Asus ZenFone 2, Asus Started Recruiting Beta Testers for Asus Zenfone 2 Laser devices too. It will also indicate that the Update of Android 6.0 is ready to roll out after tested on few Beta testers devices.
What is a Beta Tester: When you apply for Beta Tester of Android 6.0 then Asus will provide you Firmware Update Earlier than others. Now its your job is to use the OS and verify Its stable or having any bug. If any Bug present you have to report it to Developer team and they will Fix the OS. At the end, A stable OS will be released for PUBLIC or FOR everyone having that Specific device.

Android 7 1 1 now live for Moto Z Play in India
The U.S units of Moto Z Play received Android 7.1.1 back in June this year, and at the same time, soak test started in India. Now Indian units of Moto Z Play are getting updated to Android 7.1.1.
The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Moto Z Play is rolling out over-the-air with build number NPNS26.118.22, and is 1101.4MB in size. The update has the same change log as the U.S version, but includes Android Security patches until July 1 2017.
This update introduces changes including the following:
If youve not been notified about the update yet, go to settings>about phone> software update for checking it manually.
- Android 7.1.1 Nougat: many enhancements including new multitasking features, more efficient notification controls and improved data saver and battery features.
- Video calling: Duo is a one-to-one video calling app for everyone � designed to be simple, reliable and fun so you never miss a moment.
- Android security: includes the updates of Android security patches until 1 July 2017.
- App Shortcuts: brings you app shortcuts directly from your Home screen. Launch actions on your favorite apps by simply pressing and holding the app icon. (It requires app compatibility).

The feature lets users select a color that appears behind their text status in place of the normally-white background. Several of the color options offer an Instagram logo-style color gradient, which makes them more stylish and modern than boring flat colors.
Sent to TechCrunch by reader Hoan Do over the weekend, Facebook confirms this feature is in testing. It appears that it�s only testing in certain regions abroad, not in the US. Users without access to the test don�t see the colors if they look at the post, but that would likely change to everyone being able to see the colors if Facebook rolls it out more widely.
[Update: Facebook has now shared more details and a statement about the new feature. Colored status backgrounds are rolling out globally over the next few days. Only Android users will be able to create them, but everyone on iOS, Android, and the web will be able to see them in the News Feed.
A spokesperson writes �We�re rolling out a change to help people make their text posts more visual. Starting today, people can update the background color of their text-only posts on Android.�]
Adding spice to status updates could help Facebook boost �original sharing� of unique personal content, as opposed to reshaping of news articles and viral videos.
In April, The Information reported that Facebook was experiencing a decline in original, personal sharing. Apparently �original content broadcasting� was down 21% year over year as of mid-2015, and original broadcast sharing was down 15% year-over-year as of April.
Facebook has tried to downplay that claim in the past, saying original content sharing was healthy. But VP of News Feed Adam Mosseri admitted on stage at TechCrunch Disrupt SF in September that sharing of professional publisher content has grown at a faster rate than original sharing, making the latter a smaller percentage of total content. That may have played into Facebook prioritizing friends and family instead of publishers in an update from September, which could restore a balance with more original content in the feed.
Facebook seemed to already be encouraging text status updates with a �big text� feature that shows words in a larger font if your status is short, thereby making it more attention-grabbing. Both of these features could be seen as trying to steal thunder from Twitter, which is the most ubiquitous text-focused social network, though one dwarfed in size by Facebook.
When Facebook launched the News Feed, it was all about text. Some might remember the word �is� being automatically applied after your name so every update was actually about what you were doing, like: �Josh Constine is��
Yet CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said repeatedly that he sees rich media like video, 360, and VR as the future of sharing on Facebook. But there will always be some things best expressed with some simple words. Colored backgrounds make sure a spontaneous exclamation or a bit of poetry won�t get lost in the increasingly flashy feed.

Android Instant apps now available for Pixel and Nexus devices in India
Google at the 2016 I/O developer conference announced Android Instant apps, which allows users to run an app without installing it on their devices. The feature was rolled out to select countries starting earlier this year, and is now reportedly available in India as well. This feature is currently available for Googles Nexus and Pixel line up including Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X.
Android Instant apps can be enabled by going to settings > Google and then tap on the toggle button at the top-right corner of the Instant Apps screen and tap on Yes Im in to confirm. Following which, youll be able to preview apps available in the Play Store without the need of installation.
With Instant apps, you can open any app by just tapping on a link. The browser checks if there is an instant app available for the app, and then the link will load a small part of the app, required to carry a specific task, even if the app is not installed on the device.
Even though the app isnt installed on the device, you will be able to use it just like a native app. You will also be able to pay for a item or service with Instant Apps. The downloaded app is stored in the browser cache, and will be automatically deleted after a short time.
One of the advantage of Instant apps is that you dont have to download an app, and store it on your device, which could take up lot of storage space. Moreover, you will not have to download an app to carry out one specific task and then delete it when the task is complete.

Yang dijual murah tersebut adalah Konsol PlayStation�3 dengan model CECH-3000 untuk Slim dan CECH-4000 untuk model Superslim atau biasa disebut dengan PS3 OFW. Biasanya dijual dengan paket Game PSN yang sudah terinstall didalam HDD Internal sesuai kapasitasnya.
Normalnya untuk mendapatkan game di PS3 OFW ada beberapa cara yaitu dengan cara membeli lisensi asli dan mendownload gamenya ke PS3 OFW atau membeli BD Game asli di Toko Game terdekat.
Untuk cara yang paling mudah menginstall game di PS3 OFW yaitu lewat PS3 CFW dengan menggunakan utilitas Data Transfer Utility yang sudah ada di PS3. Cara yang lain yaitu menginject game ke file backup.
Untuk menginstall Game-Game di PlayStation�3 OFW pun butuh trik khusus agar bisa jalan. Trik tersebut adalah dengan mengkonversi Game CFW agar bisa digunakan di OFW dengan menggunakan Data Transfer Utility yang sudah Saya sebut diatas tadi.

- Kalau bentuknya file ISO, bisa di ektrak menggunakan 7Zip
- Yang dibutuhkan adalah folder PS3_GAME saja bukan yang lain.

Tidak semua game bajakan PlayStation�3 CFW bisa jalan di PlayStation�3 OFW. Silahkan lihat daftar game yang jalan yang sudah dites.

TAHAP 2 - UPDATE GAME
Game yang akan dikonversi (encrypt) harus ada updatenya. Jadi, game yang tidak punya update, tidak bisa jalan, bahkan di CFW sekalipun. Mungkin saja, karena Saya coba Ninja Gaiden 3 - Razors Edge [BLUS31175] menggunakan metode ini, malah error di CFW 4.81 ketika dijalankan. Terkecuali dalam bentuk ISO atau PS3_GAME masih bisa jalan via Multiman di CFW.
Untuk mengecek update :
- Buka folder PS3_GAME
- Buka file PARAM.SFO dengan aplikasi PARAM.SFO Editor v3.0.0
- Download PS3 Game Updates 3.1
Keterangan :
1. Ketik atau Copas Title ID Game sesuai dengan Title ID yang tertera di PARAM.SFO Editor
2. Ganti CFW ke versi 4.70 yang terakhir atau bisa diganti dengan versi yang lain (Saat penggunaan, versi masih 4.70. Sekarang sudah sampai 4.81, bisa di cek)
3. Klik Verify > untuk mengecek ada update game atau tidak
4. Klik kanan update (format .pkg) kemudian pilih Download
Catatan:
Jika updatenya yang muncul banyak, pilih saja yang paling terakhir (paling dibawah)
- Jalankan PKG View
- Buka update yang di folder PS3 Game Updates 3.1/download
- Klik kanan BLES02228 (sesuai Title ID)
- Pilih Extract to source folder
TAHAP 3 - KONVERSI GAME
Konversi game bisa cepat atau lambat, tergantung komputer yang dipakai dan seberapa besar game tersebut.
- Copy folder PS3_GAME ke folder Converter
- Cek folder PS3_GAME jika punya folder LICDIR dan file LIC.DAT didalamnya.
- Jika punya, langkahi step ini dan lanjut di CONVERTER
- Jika tidak punya. Buat folder baru, beri nama LICDIR
- Silahkan buka http://jonnysp.bplaced.net/lic.php#
- Masukkan Title ID
- Kemudian klik Download
- Silahkan copy LIC.DAT tersebut ke folder PS3_GAME/LICDIR
- Kemudian jalankan CONVERTER
- Ketikan Title ID yang akan dikonversi
Contoh: BLES02228 menjadi NPEB02228 (Lihat gambar Title ID)
- Lalu ketikan NPEB02228, tekan ENTER dan silahkan tunggu prosesnya

Jangan lupa copas EBOOT.BIN. Jika tidak, game akan error. Jika lupa, masih bisa di Copas lewat Multiman.
- Buka Update Game yang sudah diektrak sebelumnya
- Buka folder BLES02228/USRDIR
- Copy EBOOT.BIN
- Paste ke folder USRDIR di folder game konversi NPEB02228/USRDIR
- Salin folder BLES02228 dan NPEB02228 ke HDD External
- Lalu nyalakan PlayStation�3 CFW 4.81
TAHAP 5 - SALIN GAME KE PlayStation�3 CFW
Tahap ini cukup mudah, tinggal copas saja di Multiman. Saya harap, sudah pada tau semua bagaimana cara Copy - Paste di Multiman
- Silahkan copas folder BLES02228 dan NPEB02228 dari HDD Eksternal ke folder dev_hdd0/game
- Keluar dari Multiman
- Install DATABASE REBUILDER.pkg
- Kemudian jalankan untuk memunculkan game di XMB
TAHAP 6 - DATA TRANSFER UTILITY
Data Transfer Utility (DTU) adalah senjata ampuh untuk saat ini. Sepertinya, Sony tidak menyangka DTU bisa jadi alat untuk install game di OFW. Atau memang sengaja? Bagaimana yah jika nanti ada Update Sistem ke versi 4.82 dan DTU ini dihilangkan? kacau lah Dunia Perinjekan Game PS3.
DTU dilakukan dari konsol CFW sebagai Source (Sumber Game) ke OFW sebagai Target (Tujuan Game) dengan bantuan Kabel LAN.
!CATATAN PENTING!
Data Transfer Utility hanya bisa untuk Game Konversi dan Game C00 Trial, serta Game Demo yg tidak butuh apa-apa. Saya coba DTU game-game PSN Premium yang diaktifasi menggunakan RAP melalui PSN Patch, masih error di OFW setelah transfer data dan Aktifasi Sistem.
- Sign Up
Buat dulu akun PSN yah. Silahkan koneksi PlayStation�3 CFW 4.81 ke Internet menggunakan Wifi Hotspot atau Wifi Tethering dari Smartphone Android. Saya tidak akan jelaskan, silahkan cari sendiri caranya yah.
Jika sudah Sign Up, tidak usah Sign In.
- Setting IP
Di PlayStation�3 CFW 4.81, silahkan buka :
1. Network Settings - Internet Connection Settings - Costume - Wired Connection - Auto-Detect - Manual. Ikuti setelan sesuai gambar dibawah ini
2. Lanjut lagi pilih Automatic - Do Not Use - Enable. Tekan O untuk menyimpan settings
Di PlayStation�3 OFW 4.81, caranya hampir sama diatas
1. Hanya harus mengganti IP Address menjadi 10.1.1.3, selebihnya sama
2. Setelah menyimpan Settings, lanjut ke Test Connection
3. Jika pada Obtain IP Address = Succeeded, berarti sudah OK
4. Hiraukan pesan DNS error, langsung tekan X

Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 Now Receiving Android 4 4 2 KitKat Update
Micromax has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Canvas Doodle 3 over-the-air in India. This is the second handset by Micromax this month to receive the KitKat update, after the Canvas Knight.
Micromax announced the update via a post on its Facebook page, saying, "CAN Doodle on Android Kitkat! All Canvas Doodle 3 users on Android Jelly Bean can now upgrade to Kitkat OS through FOTA! Simply reboot your phone, receive a notification and follow the steps! Wi-Fi connectivity recommended."
Users would have to reboot their Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 handsets before they receive the OS update notification, and have to follow the outlined steps thereafter. The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is sized around 387MB.
Launched in April this year, the Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 came with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
Xolo, one of the rivals of Micromax, on Tuesday announced the beta release of Android 4.4 KitKat for its flagship smartphone -the Xolo Q3000 (Review). The company also said that it will soon release KitKat updates for the Xolo A500 Club,A550s IPS, A600, Q900s and Q1200 (Review | Pictures) smartphones, but didnt mention any time-frame for the roll-out.
On a related note, Gionee last week rolled out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Gionee Pioneer P4 over-the-air. The company reportedly also rolled out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat updates for the Elife S5.5 (Review | Pictures) and the Elife E7 Mini last month.
