Yu has Launched the Yunicorn smartphone in India at Rs. 12,999 and the phone will be available on Flipkart. The first flash sale will be held on June 7 with registrations starting from 2:00pm today. However, this Price is only for the first month and the device will be priced at Rs. 14,999 afterwards. The device features a brushed aluminium rear with chamfered edges and will be available in Rush Silver and Graphite colour variants. A Rush Gold variant will also be available for a limited period.
The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 4GB of RAM. At the back is a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, while at the front has a 5MP camera. The device offers 32GB of storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB. The phone sports a 4000mAh battery, which the company claims can last through four full days of usage. The Yunicorn does not run Cyanogen, but runs YU�s own OS called Android on Steroids (AOS) that is based on Android Lollipop. However, the company has promised that the Marshmallow update will be coming soon. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor and supports DTS Audio.
The company also unveiled Around Yu 2.0, which lets users access a number of different services via their device such as cabs, doctors, food and more. Users will have the option of choosing from different cab services like Uber or Ola via the service. Further, users will also be able to get in touch with doctors via video calls. Around Yu also comes with Yu Wallet that lets users pay for services like their phone bills.
Yu�s Co-Founder, Rahul Sharma had earlier confirmed that its next smartphone would not run Cyanogen, and would instead run stock Android as the deal between the two companies was no longer exclusive. This allowed Lenovo to launch its own Cyanogen powered device, the Zuk Z1, in India earlier this month.

Gionee is launching a new budget smartphone in India dubbed X1. It sports premium all-metal unibody design with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs Android Nougat based Amigo 4.0 UI out of the box.
The Gionee X1 features 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. It gets 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity options on-board are dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. A 3000mAh battery runs the show.
The Gionee X1 has been priced at Rs. 8,999 and is now available for purchase via offline retailers. Launch offers include additional 10GB data per month for six months for Airtel users, and two Rs. 250 cash back coupon from Paytm.

Coolpad has finally launched the Cool Play 6 in India, designed for gamers. It brings some of the flagship-grade specs at a budget like dual-cameras, 6GB RAM and bigger battery. The phone has been aggressively priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting September 4 in Black and Gold colors.
The metal-clad Coolpad Cool Play 6 sports 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM, along with 64GB on-board storage. Theres no slot for microSD card for storage expansion.

For photography, it gets 13MP dual-cameras with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash, while a 8MP f/2.2 selfie shooter sits in the front. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Journey UI and is fueled by 4060mAh battery, thats rated to deliver up to 252 hours of stanby time, up to nine hours of web browsing, up to eight hours of video playback, and up to six hours of extreme gaming.

After releasing the selfie-focused A1 and A1 Plus smartphone, Gionee is now launching a more affordable variant, the A1 Lite in India. It has been priced at Rs. 14,999 and will hit the stores on August 10 in Gold and Black colors.
The Gionee A1 Lite features 5.3-inch HD IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. Running Android Nougat based Amigo 4.0 UI on top, the device is fueled by 4000mAh battery, that is rated to deliver up to 295 hours of standby time.
For photography, it gets 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 20MP front facing camera along with selfie flash. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Indian device maker Swipe Technologies is launching a new affordable entry-level smartphone dubbed Konnect Power. The main highlight of the smartphone is that it packs a good sized battery that should last you a full day in "normal use" and is priced under Rs. 5,000.
It is fueled by 3000mAh battery, thats rated to deliver up to a day of normal usage, or up to three hours of online streaming on 4G network or up to eight house of social media browsing.
The Konnect Power will feature 5-inch HD display and equipped with 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card.
It will come with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It also supports OTG for connecting compatible pen drives. Sadly the device runs Android Marshmallow, and is most likely to remain on that.
The Konnect Power is priced at Rs. 4,999, and will be exclusively available on Snapdeal starting August 7.

LG has officially launched its latest Q series bezel-less smartphone, the Q6 in India with FullVision display technology, that is also found on the flagship G6.
The mid-range smartphone has been aggressively priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting August 10 in Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Terra Gold color.
The LG Q6 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD+ FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio , octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera w/ LED flash, 5MP 100-degree wide angle selfie shooter, and 3000mAh battery. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has dedicated slots for dual-SIM and microSD card.

Design-wise, it sports bezel-free front, plastic body with rounded corners, but has 7000 series aluminum frame to make it more sturdy, and the devices case is MIL-STD 810G certified for extra durability, which means it will be able to with stand extreme temperatures, rain, humidity, sand and dust. Unfortunately, theres no fingerprint scanner.

Dual SIM 4G LTE Lenovo Vibe Z launched for Rs 35 999

Lenovo announced its dual sim Vibe Z smartphone at the CES last month. The Lenovo Vibe Z supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) technology and 4G LTE connectivity. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the box. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS wide angle viewing touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
The Vibe Z has a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It has a 13 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash as well as a 5 MP front-facing camera for video calling. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage. The Lenovo Vibe Z has a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery that according to the listing can deliver up to 278 hours of standby time.
