ഇന്ദുലേഖ പ്രഥ ലയാളം സംപൂര്ണ നോവല്
ഇന്ദുലേഖ പ്രഥ ലയാളം സംപൂര്ണ നോവല്
Indulekha is the first complete novel written in Malayalam. Indulekha is a novel about a beautiful, well-educated lady of a Nair tharavadu by O Chandu Menon.
The novel was written at a time when there was an emerging class of upper caste men (mostly Nairs) who received a Western style education, and were achieving prominent positions in British India. The period was a clash of cultures, as the educated Indians were torn between Western ideals and traditional practices. The Nambudiri Brahmins of Kerala, had traditionally had marital relations with Nair women, known as Sambandham, since only the oldest Nambudiri youth was allowed to marry a Brahmin girl. The younger sons were encouraged to have Sambandham with Nair women, in order to maintain male primogeniture, since the children born from such relations belonged to their mothers family. The matriarchy practiced by the Nairs was also coming under attack during this period. Many of the Nambudiri men though learned in Vedas and Sanskrit, had little knowledge of English and Western sciences. The novel highlights the lack of willingness of the Nambudiris to adapt to the change of times, as well as the struggle by Nair women to break out of the age-old principle of Sambandham, which had little relevance during the late 19th century.

The Bhagavad Gita also referred to as Gita, is a 700verse Hindu scripture that is part of the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. This scripture contains a conversation between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Krishna on a variety of philosophical issues.
Faced with a fratricidal war, a despondent Arjuna turns to his charioteer Krishna for counsel on the battlefield. Krishna, through the course of the Gita, imparts to Arjuna wisdom, the path to devotion, and the doctrine of selfless action. The Gita upholds the essence and the philosophical tradition of the Upanishads. However, unlike the rigorous monism of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita also integrates dualism and theism.
Commentators see the setting of the Gita in a battlefield as an allegory for the ethical and moral struggles of the human life. The Bhagavad Gitas call for selfless action inspired many leaders of the Indian independence movement including Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who referred to the Gita as his "spiritual dictionary".

Lernstift A pen that vibrates to a spelling mistake

As children we all needed feedback from our teachers to correct our spelling mistakes but now a pen can do it for you. A pair of German inventors have developed Lernstift, a learning pen thatll help you improving your spelling and handwriting with the power of vibration. Packing a stripped-down Linux system with a non-optical motion sensor, itll work out what youre writing and buzz you if it thinks youve made a mistake.
The pen has two modes – Calligraphy mode and Orthography mode. In Calligraphy Mode the pen vibrates once if a letter is written wrong or illegibly. In Orthography Mode the pen vibrates once for a misspelled word and twice to point out grammatical errors in a sentence.
Lernstift works differently. The pen recognizes words, gestures and symbols, even if you only "draw them in the air". This opens up all new possibilities for whiteboarding applications.
With its exchangeable writing system the pen can be easily turned into a pencil, fountain pen or ballpoint.
