Dual Lens SmartPhones can be the Latest Trend Do You Want One

According to the leaked images of the forthcoming HTCs M8 smartphone, it has one camera but two different lenses that can bring some mind boggling imaging features that goes far beyond imagination and mere 3D.

A new startup technology known as Corephotonics, Which is a new concept for smartphone makers focusing on dual-lens. Accorsing to companys representatives, they are on the verge to finish a specific module in M8 and they were much anticipated in showing their modules strenght of image quality.

The technology is "Corephotonics", which uses two lenses with two different focal lengths. The first lens is at broader-angle, and the other is at 3x zoom, thus it can easily be switched to magnify more distant subjects without switching to digital zoom.

HTC M8: What More To Expect?

While testing the device as shown in the video above, The comparison of dual-lensese one-by-one using a smartphone camera, the Corephotonics system generated an image of 13-megapixel regardless of whether it is at 1x or 3x zoom.

Nokias PureView camera rely only on digital zoom technology generating a 3x magnified image creating a drop in resolution. Corephotonics software provides real-time images by matching each pixel from one lens with the corresponding pixel from the other lens, and it also detects that which pixel is closer to real-time.

If all this things go successfully, then we will have a technology with real promise and thats it explains why HTC has drilled an extra hole in the back of M8.
