HMD Global is expected to out the highly-anticipated top-end Nokia 8 flagship on August 16. In addition we can also expect the company to expand its budget line with the Nokia 2.
The Nokia 2 is said to be the most affordable smartphone of the resurrected family running Android, cheaper than Nokia 3, and will have the lowest configuration as well. Previously the Nokia 2 revealed itself in sketches, and now thanks to FCC listing, real-life photos of the device is out, and is in line with earlier leak.
As seen in the photos, the Nokia 2 will have the usual design, you expect from a entry-level device, and will be close to that of Nokia 3. It will have plastic body, and on-screen navigation controls instead of physical button. Theres also a speaker at the lower left side of the rear panel.
The Nokia 2 is rumored to feature 4.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 212 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 8MP/5MP cameras, and run stock Android 7.1.1 out of the box.
Considering the specs, the Nokia 2 should be priced less than $100 or Rs. 8,000.

Samsungs upcoming budget tablet with model number Samsung SM-T385C believed to be the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has paid a visit to Chinas TENAA. Sadly this time TENAA has only posted the product renders, and not the specs. Recently it even passed through FCC.
However a recent benchmark listing has revealed some of the specs of the tablet. As the name suggests the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will have 8-inch display bearing 1280 x 800 (HD) resolution. It is expected to be equipped with Qualcomms quad-core Snapdragon 435 Mobile platform w/ Adreno 308 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There will also be microSD card slot for storage expansion, and the tablet will run Android Nougat out of the box.
It has 8MP auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash, while a 5MP camera will sit at the front for selfies and video calling. Other features are WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and sensors like light and accelerometer. The battery capacity is not yet known.
As of now it is not known when Samsung plans to unveil the tablet, but the appearance on various certification website points towards an imminent launch, possibly at IFA 2017.

Lenovo K8 Plus spotted on Geekbench with Helio P25 chip 3GB RAM
The Lenovo K8 Note is all set to launch in India on August 9. And now ahead of the launch, another unreleased member of the K8 family dubbed K8 Plus has passed through Geekbench benchmarks, revealing the processor, RAM and operating system.
As per the listing, the K8 Plus will be equipped with 1.69GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6757D P25 processor, Mali T888 GPU and 3GB RAM. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Previosuly the K8 Note was spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core chip, 4GB RAM and also run Android 7.1.1. Sadly no other details of both devices are available. But the phones are most likely to feature Full HD resolution display and fingerprint scanner.
Lenovo has already confirmed that going forward, the companys smartphone will run stock Android just like Moto devices instead of Vibe Pure UI for a vanilla Android experience.
We should know more details about Lenovos future plans on August 9.

Mystery 7 inch LG Tegra powered tablet spotted with Google branding
An upcoming 7-inch tablet listing has been spotted on the US FCC website that indicates that LG is readying a new Nvidia Tegra-powered tablet in the compact range.
This could very well be the next coming of Google’s Nexus 7 tablet, as the Google branding is clearly evident as well.
The upcoming LG device with FCC ID A4R-NX74751 has all the makings of a proper Nexus device – the LG/Google branding, Tegra chipset, and 7-inch screen diagonal. The presence of a boatload of LTE bands further sweetens the package.
Although the documentation talks of 2,480mAh battery capacity, you should note that the voltage is double that of what is found on standard smartphone/tablet batteries – 7.6V vs 3.8V. This translates to the same capacity as a 4,960mAh 3.8V battery, which is about standard for a compact tablet.
What’s odd is that power output over USB maxes out at around 5V, which means that charging the device over USB will either work really slowly or not at all. This could mean one of two things:
1) There are two battery modules that combine the standard 3.8V measurement into one rating, which shows up double in the FCCs testing, or
2) Google will be throwing in a special fast-charging port that is not of the USB standard.
Obviously, Google is the last company anyone expects to introduce a proprietary port, but if it’s thrown inalongside a USB port that’s also capable of charging the device (albeit at a slower rate), what could be the harm?
Either way, it’s obvious that Google has something special in store for the 3rd generation of the Google Nexus 7, and hopefully we’ll see it in time for the holidays. We’ll have more on this mystery LG tablet as the story develops.
