Official Android M For Asus ZenFone 2 Finally Released
Its been Asuss 4th device followed by Asus Zenfone 2 laser ZE500KL --> Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL -->Zenfone MAX ZC550KL --> Zenfone 2 ZE551ML / ZE550ML got Android M system upgrade.
After a lot of waiting time and bug fix by Asus, Now Android M is also available for Asus Zenfone 2.
There is no doubt that Beta testing for this device is started earlier than any other, still this device got update little bit late. Its due to Intel Atom processor. As per official report --> Asus is asking for latest Intel ATOM driver but intel is not cooperating with Asus so this company is facing huge BUG problem while PORTING a complete OS to its Intel ATOM processor based Device.
Without any further due lets move to the instruction and download part.
Upgrade Scenario ZE551ML / ZE550ML:
The New Firmware Version is
WW-4.21.40.61 = ZE551ML
WW-4.21.40.54= ZE550ML

Asus Email, Asus Calender, Asus Messaging will no longer be pre-loaded in this version. You can use Gmail, Google Calender & Google Messanger provides the corresponding service.

Installation Procedure:
- Download the ZIP firmware file for your device
- Copy the file in your device SDcard
- Remove the USB cable
- Click on the Notification to upgrade system
- Choose system update file and press on ok
- Your device will be rebooted and upgraded.
- Perform a Factory Reset and clear cache because its a SYSTEM UPGRADE.
OR you can do it also using ADB method.
